WoW's love season is here
The World of Warcraft's Love Is in the Air event is a way for players to honor friendship and love. Players can swap gifts and sweets and show their gratitude for the leaders of their factions.
As with any WoW event, aside from the fun it's to serve the common WoW player's advantage, be it WOW Gold, buffs or achievements. For the two games, Classic as well as Retail WoW they might differ.
In that light Here's an explanation of how Love Is in the Air event will play out to WoW Classic or Shadowlands alike.
Love is in the Air! Start Date
This WoW The Love Is in the Air event comes with two different dates to start the event in both Classic and Retail players. On the Classic side the event starts on the 11th of February on a Friday and runs through Wednesday, February 16th . Meanwhile, for the Retail side, it began on February 7, on a Monday and will close on February 21st, on a Monday.
This means that even though it starts later, Classic players only have less than a week to spread all their love out . Retail players have two weeks.
Love is in the air Event Information
Similar as Classic and Retail having different times, this could be said of each of their events. For instance the Classic's Love Is in the Air Event is not much aside from the consumption of candy that results in buffs for one hour, and Retail's makes the neigh easily identifiable.
WoW Classic
For Classic There are a variety of items that provide beneficial buffs. There are two methods of getting these buffs: either through the pledge or gift of Love which can be obtained every hour, or through doing the quest, Aristan's Hinch (Alliance)or Fenstad's Hinch (Horde). Contrary to the game, the Pledge/Gift option can be repeated since the quest can only be completed only once per player.
If either of these are completed and completed, you will be presented with a box of chocolates that contain individual candy. The candies include:
Dark Desire: increases chances of hitting 22% of the time. This increases melee hit only, and not the spell hit.
Very Berry Cream The cream has a bonus of +23 spell damage.
Buttermilk Delight: +13 defense
Sweet Surprise Sweet Surprise: +44 healing
Another way to get buffs for power that last one hour is gathering items from cities to make City Gift Collections. If you combine these, you'll receive any of these buffs.
