WoW Classic Was Lacking Something Special

In terms of viewership, World of Warcraft was the best year for Twitch, thanks in large part to the explosion of the raid competition to the world's first and the launch of Classic. But since the Classic was released, the game has watched 47 million hours in a week, so it has been declining.

As the hype over games as a content creation business force fades, some have speculated that World of Warcraft ’s ratings may decline because classic wow gold games started as PvE games. Ribbons are competing to be the first player to reach level 60 and kill raid bosses such as Ragnaros and Onyxia.

After that, there is nothing to attract viewers other than the occasional open-world antics performed by Asmongold, the game's main streamer. Because what makes content creation particularly different on Twitch is that influential people use PvP talents, Classic lacks this special thing.

Although originally planned to release battlegrounds in the third phase of its six-phase plan, Blizzard released two PvP instances last week, which are expected to bring new flavors to Classic, enabling content creators to be more entertaining and Less entertainment better maintains the audience's excess content. However, just over a week after the battlefield was released, ratings did not change much.

According to tracking statistics, in the three days before and after the launch of the battlefield, the average hourly ratings of World of Warcraft soared to nearly 80,000. But shortly after, those numbers dropped again. On the first day of play on the battlegrounds, WoW streamers were watched on the platform for about a million hours. But two days later, the game lingered for about 500,000 hours a day, about the same time as before the battlefield erupted.

There can be multiple reasons for the rapid decline. First, the battlefield that most people play in order to maximize their in-game rewards, Alterac Valley, is a bit confusing and not friendly to the audience.

In essence, the example is simple. Each team has a boss who must protect and kill the commander of the other team. When a team kills another boss, the instance ends. However, because the game has 40 players per team, everyone's games can sometimes seem trivial and therefore unattractive to watch.

For viewers, the more enjoyable PvP instance Warsong Gulch is a classic instance of capturing the flag, with 10 players per team. Although the pace of the game tends to accelerate, cheap fast wow classic gold collectors do not have the motivation to play the game because they do not get much honor from the game compared to Alterac Valley.

Another factor affecting the ratings of World of Warcraft is the recent lack of Asmongold, who is by far the most watched game streaming media player. Earlier this month, he took a week off, and four days after returning to the stream, he began to take another vacation. His last battle was on December 13, a few days after the battlefield was released.
