WoW Classic | The Best Guide for Poison Quests

Poisons, the most unique profession in WoW Classic due to its limited availability, purpose and easy leveling. Just like any other profession, rogue does have to learn poison before it can make any poison. You can actually do this by completing a mission that is unlocked at level 20. Although this task is available at level 20, you may not be powerful enough to complete it yourself. In addition to the character level requirements, you also need to improve your selection skills to at least level 70.

After reaching level 24, you will unlock another quest, allowing you to buy poison directly from the vendor. Each faction has different missions to complete though you my have enough wow gold, find them in the Horde or Alliance section below.

Alliance Poison Questline

The Alliance questline is short and easy, although you may encounter the problem of killing level 24 elite in the second mission. You will visit Duskwood and Westfall on most of the quest lines. Before you start, make sure you have at least 70 locks.

Talk to Master Mathias Shaw at the SI: 7 headquarters in Stormwind.

Accept the mission: Mathias and Defias.

Travel to southern Westfall and talk to Agent Kearnen.

Accept the quest: Klaven’s Tower.

You will need to steal the Defias Tower Key from a Malformed Drone (level 23 monster near the entrance).

Climb up the tower until you encounter level 24 elite humanoid.

If your level is 24 or higher, you can lift Klaven without killing Klaven. Otherwise, kill him and snatch the chest.

Return to Master Mathias Shaw in Stormwind. You can now buy poison.

You can complete the next, option quest: Touch of Zanzil to cure it, or ask a priest to dispel you.

Horde Poison Questline

The Horde questline is more difficult, and you may need help to buy classic gold wow to kill the Level 23 Elite halfway through. Most of the missions take place in the Barrens, but you also need to head to Hillsbrad Foothills to complete. Don't forget to upgrade your combination lock to at least level 70 so that you can open the Gallywix lockbox.

First, you will go to Orgrimmar and talk to Shenthul. He is also a rogue trainer.

Accept the mission: Shattered Salute.

Perform the salute as indicated to complete the quest.

Accept the second quest: Deep Cover.

Head to the northeast of the Barrens to reach The Sludge Fen.

Once you can see Venture Co. Tower, use your torch quest item twice.

After triggering twice, use the / salute command when locating the Taskmaster Fizzule. Make sure you follow the last two steps exactly, otherwise Fizzule will kill you.

Accept the third quest: Mission: Possible But Not Probable.

Continue to kill the following 2 people: Mutated Venture Co. Drone, Venture Co. Lookout, Venture Co. Patroller.

Pickpocket Silixiz’s key from Foreman Silixiz.

Next, you need to kill Grand Foreman Puzik Gallywix. You may need help because he is an elite monster at level 23! Don't forget to grab his head.

Continue to use the unlocking technique (requires Level 70 unlocking technique) to open the Gallywix lockbox to steal Zanzil's Altered Mixture cache.

Head back to Shenthul in Orgrimmar to turn in the quest. You’ll received a 7-day poison debuff after turning in the quest, which can be cured through completion of the next quest.

Accept the fourth quest: Hinott’s Assistance.

Head to Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad Foothills to talk to Serge Hinott. You will clear the poison and have the ability to make poison!
