Things You Need to Know about W0W Classic Battlegrounds Update

The exciting news for players is that the latest maintenance time news and PvP updates have confirmed the release date of the W0W classic Battlegrounds. W0W classic players will undergo a major update this week, which will bring the game's first Battlegrounds PvP Zones.

Blizzard confirmed earlier in 2019 that they have plans to speed up its release schedule where possible. This caused the release date of the classic Battlegrounds to be confirmed later this month. The disadvantage is that gamers have to deal with some lengthy maintenance work before browsing the latest content. But Blizzard has provided news in most of these areas, making it easier to predict when new PvP updates will be released. Now igmah will give you news about Battlegrounds youu need to know.

When will Battlegrounds come to W0W Classic?

Good news for fans, the launch date of Classic Battlegrounds has been confirmed as December 10, 2019. The news was shared earlier today after it was released sometime this week. Now we know that the new Classic PvP update will go live after a long maintenance cycle. During this period, the game will be unavailable on live servers for about eight hours around December 10.

According to the latest news from Blizzard, the maintenance of Classic will start at 7 am Pacific time on Tuesday and will not end until 3 pm Pacific time. For gamers in the UK, this means that W0W will be unavailable from 3pm to 11pm GMT. This is a long wait, but it should end with the release of the new Classic Battlegrounds.

W0W Classic Battlegrounds

As many fans already know, Blizzard plans to release Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley on December 10. Although everything promised in the third stage will not arrive tomorrow, fans will also notice other invasions are taking place in the game.

A recent message from Blizzard explains: “Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley will open in Classic simultaneously on all realms the week of December 10.

“Warsong Gulch is a 10v10 game of capture-the-flag, with each faction attempting to carry their opponents’ flag all the way back to their own base, while preventing the opposition from doing the same. Players fight in level-ranges in Warsong Gulch: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and level 60.

“Alterac Valley is a large 40v40 tug-of-war zone, with many quests, objectives, and areas of interest.

“All players at level 51 and higher are placed into a single level-range in this epic struggle, with rewards via reputation as well as quest rewards.

“Some Alterac Valley rewards are highly sought, such as Don Julio’s Band, Lei of the Lifegiver, and Ice Threaded Arrows/Bullets.

“The Alliance entrance to Warsong Gulch is in Silverwing Grove in Ashenvale Forest, and the Horde entrance is near Mor’shan Base Camp in the northern Barrens.

“The Alliance and Horde entrances to Alterac Valley are in northern Hillsbrad Foothills. Both Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley can also be entered by speaking with the appropriate battlemaster in your capital city.

“Battlegrounds are cross-realm, which means you’ll fight alongside allies and against opponents from all of the realms in your region.”

Battlegrounds is a special type of area where you can find PvP challenges and provide a more competitive way for camp games. These areas are characterized by red instance portals and are therefore difficult to spot by accident. On Battlegrounds, player-to-player combat is always enabled, even if you play games on a PvE server. Blizzard also confirmed that with today's update, the groundwork for paid character transfer services is also ready.
